Tabernacle Ministries Children's Care Center
Through the help and provision of God, and through the faithful obedience and support of Tabernacle Ministries, its congregation, and contributions from other local churches. Tabernacle Ministries has established and continues to support a school and orphanage in Uganda. The ministry currently provides daily meals and education for 102 children, cared for by 18 dedicated staff members under the leadership of Pastor Semusu Hillary and his family. Through God’s blessing, Tabernacle Ministries has purchased land and constructed both a school building and an orphanage facility, providing the children with a safe place to learn and live. Every building and project has been paid for as it was completed, without debt. In addition, Tabernacle Ministries continues to faithfully support the monthly feeding program for the children.

Our Story
2019 - Brother Larry Compton Begins the Journey
In obedience to the Lord, Larry went to Africa, led a crusade and began the school/orphanage. He was connected with Pastor Semusu Hillary by the will of the Lord.
Education & Growth
Our School Sets the Standard
The school has become the model school in the area that other schools are fashioned after. We were the first to utilize Whiteboards!

Nurturing growth physically and spiritually - developing their bodies as a temple of God. Welcoming children from the community.

We aim to provide each pupil with a biblical understanding to help the pupil develop their relationship with God and equip them for life in society.

This is the first goat as we begin to raise goats for food and other recourses.

We built a house for Pastor Hillary and his family to have suitable housing.
